About this Blog

Update: February 1st, 2008

When I started this blog I was looking high and low for a weekly column that would entertain, inform and educate me about physics from a “working-man’s” point of view, but could find none, which spurred me to starting one of my own.

Being a physicist isn’t easy - you’re expected to know everything: mathematics, programming, building models, constructing algorithms, understanding the stars and the atoms, knowing all about matter and picking up some chemistry along the way as well. I guess it comes with the turf.

This blog is built in the true spirit of today’s physicist: a jack of all trades (and a master of one, or maybe two).  I will try and introduce diverse ideas and give you new perspectives on interesting problems. Every now and then I’ll throw in a puzzle that will make you think. In short, I’ll try and supply you with the things I would’ve appreciated myself in a blog.

This blog is updated every week or so and you are all welcome to participate by commenting, asking questions and voicing your opinions.

Enjoy your stay!

yes, you are right mario as far as the neural networks are concerned when i was working for activemerchant.com at that time we implemented neural networks using maths concepts.
